Project: Advance Payday
Overview
Advance Payday is a financial services company that came to us looking for a more interactive site and a fresh look. After
spending time getting a feel for what they wanted and how their current operation worked we built several key features into the new site.
With over 18 locations all over middle Tennessee they wanted a way of visually representing each of the locations on a map. In response we
intergrated a interactive map with each of the 18 locations plotted on the map via the Google Maps API. Visitors can click on the location
link and get a zoomed in version at that particular store or they can click the bubble and get contact information.
Management at Advance Payday wasn’t ready to commit thousands of dollars to paying lead generators, converting their software, and
setting up a call center to test the Internet lending waters so we designed a system to allow them to retrieve applicant data but use existing
systems to handle the customer.
Looking to streamline their application process Advance Payday was looking for a way that a potential applicant could apply online and have
management see their resume immediately from anywhere. They also wanted the ability to print the resulting application so that the employee
could then sign the legal section. We designed a system that not only allowed multiple users to view the applications but using the open source
PHP library FPDF we allowed realtime creation of the application in PDF format for printing or saving. The system, for accountability
purposes, also tracks every action a user takes and allows the user to see if the application has been previously viewed.
